Strategic culture is a new approach in the security and foreign policy studies which delves into the impacts of cultural factors on the strategic behavior of the countries. Strategic behavior is a kind of behavior which is related to the fundamental issues of national security and application of force against other countries. Israel is among the players that more than any other country emphasizes on the issue of national security. Strategic culture is a suitable approach that elucidates various cultural factors including the impact of historical experiences on the strategic behavior of Israel. The present paper is an attempt to study elements of strategic culture of Israel in the light of a theoretical introduction.
